Mouse Tank
Some petroglyphs and historical inscriptions across the street from the parking lot. What's funny is that people would pull up, park and hike the trail and not even see these petros across the street.
Rain symbols?
Interesting.
There is an interesting bird looking petroglyph in the center. Could be a Thunderbird.
Here he is again. Some spirals and feet too.
Could these guys be dancing?
Close up.
Alysia gives size to this panel. Some of the glyphs would be very hard to reach.
The anthropomorth in front of the bighorn looks surprised....
There are some vertical lines here. Those always make me think of rain. Also, on the far left is a "bat woman".
Wider look at the panel. Some of the glyphs are so old, they have been revarnished.
Very interesting anthropomorphs. Dancing? Friendship? Why the two on the left have flat heads? The sign at the trailhead says this is a snake dance. You can just barely see some wavy lines above them.
This whole rock was covered.
Lots of petroglyphs.
Bush and petros.
Another covered cliff face.
It keeps going.
Closer view.
Some are faint.
Another wall of petroglyphs.
Some of this panel has fallen.
The upper left of this panel almost looks like a map.
Some deer.
Alysia along the trail.
